Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• 3 years working with various business functions gathering and refining requirements
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and define processes
• Outstanding project management skills with experience using project management applications
• Experience using issue tracking applications such as Jira and Cherwell
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Understanding of insurance, especially health, a major plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, Planner, and other productivity applications
• College-level coursework, relevant certificates and/or commensurate experience required

Skills and Abilities:

• Transforms complex abstract concepts into clearly defined requirements
• Make decisions and solve problems using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment
• Gather and analyze information from a diverse set of sources and individuals to fully understand a problem
• Capable of evaluating business processes and provide improvement recommendations, proactively anticipating needs and prioritizing action steps
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with experience leading cross-departmental whiteboarding and learning sessions
• Demonstrated ability to be creative and analytical, excellent emotional intelligence
• Experience with interpreting and maintaining a data dictionary
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization including Senior Leadership Team
• Basic understanding of SQL queries and database concepts
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and experience with other big data tools and technologies a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools and understanding how to leverage such a tool for business needs a plus
• Effectively partners with all levels of staff to define requirements, communicate roadmaps, and proactively identify organization needs
• Ability to work independently and effectively juggle multiple priorities

Essential Functions:

• Partners with the business to understand requests, define key deliverables, identify risk/challenges
• Defines program/project objectives by identifying milestones, features, and other key deliverables
• Constructs workflow charts and diagrams, process flows, procedures, and roadmaps
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving issues, publishing progress reports and roadmaps
• Ability to manage a successful User Acceptance Testing effort for new tools and systems
• Performs quality reviews of projects to ensure the solution meets expectations
• Partners with stakeholders to build relationships and understand business objectives to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals
• Documents solutions and maintains information libraries
